Stefan Williams is the Founder of Secrecy Executive Protection (SEP), a Maryland based security firm built on professionalism, discipline, and real world operational experience. With over five years in protective services, Stefan has served as a Special Police Officer in high-responsibility environments, where he developed strong expertise in de-escalation, incident response, and the protection of people and property. He has also held leadership roles, including serving as a Lieutenant Colonel (Special Police), where he oversaw and mentored a large force of officers. Stefan is a highly credentialed instructor, holding certifications as a District of Columbia Metropolitan Police Department Certified Firearms Instructor, Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) General and Firearms Instructor, National Rifle Association (NRA) Firearms Instructor, Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission (MPCTC) Security Guard Instructor, and an American Red Cross Instructor. Through his leadership, training expertise, and commitment to excellence, Stefan continues to set the standard for delivering elite, reliable, and professional security services while developing the next generation of security professionals.
CO-FOUNDER
Derek Kinard serves as Co-Founder of Secrecy Executive Protection, bringing active law enforcement experience and a commitment to professional excellence in both security operations and training. As a dedicated police officer with the Bladensburg Police Department, Derek has built a solid foundation in public safety, rapid response, and community protection over the past three years.
In addition to his law enforcement role, Derek is a certified MPCTC Security Guard Instructor and American Red Cross Instructor, equipping individuals with the knowledge, discipline, and real-world skills necessary to operate effectively in today’s security environment. His hands on approach to training emphasizes accountability, preparedness, and operational readiness.
